The R-C is hybrid instrument.  It employs resophonic sound with the traditional makings of a bluegrass banjo.  Featuring an all metal sound chamber, a Beard brand cone and maple biscuit, and a traditional wood banjo resonator, the R-C delivers metallic, twangy tones and an opportunity for innovative expression.  The stainless steel cover plate is inspired by traditional steel guitar and resonator style instruments.
